It's yellowed and smells fowl right where it contacts my head.Ive tried soaking it in a chlorine solution with mixed results- the odor is gone but most of the stain remains.It seems that i'm an oily type of hair and forehead and I don't use hair conditioners.I do sweat moderately. I have no problem with good cloathes washing results following wash instructions for the rest of my whites.

I would use either Shout or maybe even try Clorox. I would spray the stuff on it then scrub it in with a toothbrush and let it soak in for a while. Then, depending on the stain I would respray/scrub and put it in the washing machine. You have to be careful though---its tricky washing hats in the washing machine because they sometimes tend to just sit in the bottom of the machine or even sometimes fall apart. Best of luck!!

Trust and believe, saturate the area and let sit overnight, you can get shout in a bottle w/a scrubber top rub or scrub area well ~ walmart and/or bed, bath %26amp; beyond sells an in-expensive, plastic baseball cap form that you can put in the dishwasher.
