I use assuies spruch spray everyday after i get out of the shower. my hair is still wet and i put my hair band in and then use the spruch spry but it makes my curley short hair crispy. Also I cant use mouse in my hair becuase it does the same thing as the spruch spry. Is there anything on the market that is cheap and i can get say from walmart or zellers because i cant afford salon products. Can anyone suggest a cheap department store brand for curley hair that wont make my hair crispy? also I hate gel in my hair. thnxs so much for your help.

Yes yes yes... after 4 years of the same problem, I finally found Garnier Fructis's "curl shaping spray gel" in the "strong" strength (yellow) it only costs around $5 for 8.5fl oz and it works great if you don't overload... good luck!

I have dry curly hair also, I've always had a hard time keeping it moisturized.. you shouldn't use a spray... use a gel or moose to help moisture your hair, I use tresemme curl car moose or gel. It works great. Also, you may need a hot oil treatment

OH I know how you feel...I went throught that too, but now I have found my fav. product EVER!!!!
Garnier Fructis Style Reshapable Putty STRONG
it has a red top and its just the best!! I get sooo many compliments about my hair because it looks as if I woke up with soft waves...I LOVE IT!!
U should definitely try it!!
when using it I spread it all over my hands and run a bit of water on them and then I apply it to my hair...first I put my head down to get the backside...then I put my head up straight and apply it everywhere else
here's what it looks like...

I use Sunsilk Frizz Ease 24/7 creme (green bottle). It really defines my curls. Usually, though, I follow up with mousse, but I'm sure it'll work without it too.
