Oh that's an easy one!

Duran Duran! Obviously!

They've influenced me, and many, many other musicians. Its simply 'not cool' to acknowledge they influenced you, but there's soooooo many closet Duranies out there! I'm sure of it.

As a musician, they had a huge influence on me - especially John for his wicked bass riffs, Simon for catchy melodies %26amp; lyrics, Roger for thunderous beats, and even Nick to some degree for his cool keyboard soundscaping. Not sure how much of Warren or Andy rubbed off on me, but hey....4 out 6 is a pretty high percentage.

Let's not forget the hair, which was ultra hip at the time! Unlike Def Leopard, these guys went to the right hair salons thank you very much!

Also, let's not forget about what they did for VIDEOS %26amp; MTV! Without Duran Duran, videos would SUCK! MTV should come up with a holiday in their honor to celebrate their acomplishments !

HORABLE MENTION -

Robert Smith (The Cure)!

I always wondered what hair products he used? Aqua Net? Well, anyways....The Cure's 'Facination Street' is regarded as one of the most ground-breaking albums for its guitar sounds. Check it out!

So, there you have it. Duran Duran, and in a close 2nd - The Cure.
